Mrs. Goulding
Meet Mrs. Goulding, our fourth grade teacher at Freeman Elementary School. Mrs. Goulding is a teacher who has focused energy, and takes advantage of every second of class time. Last year her class achievement was amazing. Ninety-six percent of the students in her class demonstrated proficiency on state examinations. “You will never find me sitting down at my desk. I am always walking around the room teaching,” said Mrs. Goulding with a smile. She is a teacher who takes a personal interest in helping her students feel successful.
Before becoming a teacher, Mrs. Goulding worked for a TV station. “I worked on a television show and did commercials, but I wanted to be a teacher. I was in TV land but I didn’t think this was my calling.” Mrs. Goulding found her passion in teaching. That is when she decided to become an educator!
Some of her hobbies include hiking, biking, and traveling. In fact, she rides her bike for about 10 miles every other day. Sometimes, she travels with her husband Alan, and her two sons Brian and Daniel. She has visited places like Argentina where she climbed icebergs! She tries to lead a healthy lifestyle by staying active. She even has been a member of a book club for 20 years!
When asked about her favorite thing about Freeman she mentioned, “The staff and kids.” “I think the kids are sweet and the parents are supporting them well.” Mrs. Goulding continued, “My biggest message is that education is the key to their success. Even if they are struggling with reading and math I will help them overcome that.”
Mrs. Goulding’s favorite quote is, “Energy and persistence conquer all things." This means to never give up. She welcomes communication from parents and truly wants all of her students to be successful. Stop by and congratulate Mrs. Goulding for being our very first “Falcon of the Month!”

Conozcan a la señora Goulding, nuestra maestra de cuarto grado de la Escuela Primaria de Freeman. Mrs. Goulding es una maestra que centra su energía, y aprovecha cada segundo del tiempo de clase. Algunas de sus aficiones son las caminatas, el ciclismo y viajar. De hecho, ella monta su bicicleta durante unos 10 millas cada dos días. A veces, ella viaja con su marido Alan, y sus dos hijos, Brian y Daniel. Ella ha visitado lugares como Argentina, donde se subió a las montanas de hielo!” Ella se trata de llevar un estilo de vida saludable, y mantenerse activo.
